A special nozzle propels the hose up the sewer main line and then is pulled back, flushing the debris to a powerful vacuum where it is then removed from the system.
With over 200 miles of sewer, 4700 manholes and 22 lift stations, the District's network serves over 11,000 customers with an average 3 MGD collected a day.
Televising is done to detect weak areas in the sewer system.
Is designed to hold a small amount of water which prevents air from entering you home or business. The forced air created during cleaning or evaporation over time removes that water barrier.
