2025 Board of Trustees
The Utility is governed by a nine-member Board of Trustees appointed by the Clay Township Trustee, Hamilton County Council, Hamilton County Commissioners, Mayor of Carmel and Zionsville Council/Boone County Commissioners.
Board Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month and commence at 5:00 p.m.

Comprised of the Board's officers and one member.

Chaired by the Board's Treasurer; capital and operating budgets, fund allocation, investment and financial management.

Facilities planning and construction, special construction related issues on District- or privately-funded infrastructure projects.

Staffing, human resources and organizational topics as well as safety topics.

Infrastructure Committee

Comprised of One Board Member, Staff IT Manager, and Managed Services Provider. Meets quarterly or as needed.

As a member of the public, you are encouraged to voice your opinions and become actively involved in the legislative process. Board of Trustees Meetings are open to the public and agendas are available for your review prior to the meetings.
The public may address the Board regarding an agenda item or a general concern. You may complete a Public Comment Card and present it at the start of a meeting. You will be called to the podium by the Board President. Remember to state your name for the record.
