Federal Funding Available to Help Pay Energy and Water Bills
Time is running out to apply for help with your energy and water bills!
Did you know that federal funding is available to help pay some of your energy and/or water utilities? The Low-Income Household Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) are federally funded programs to help Indiana residents pay their utility bills and prevent utility shut offs.
Households that earn less than 60% of the state median income (60 SMI) may qualify to receive this benefit. The application closes on May 16, 2022 at 5 PM EST, so this is your last chance!
